Editing for Music Video

We're gearing up for post-production on an independent music video project, with principal photography wrapping in early October 2026. This is a high-energy, visually driven piece for an emerging indie artist, blending vibrant urban aesthetics with a dreamlike, surreal tone. We're looking for a talented entry-level editor to help shape the narrative and visual flow, translating raw footage into a compelling story that resonates with audiences. This role is crucial for defining the final look and feel of the project. You'll be working closely with the director to achieve their vision. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of work, starting immediately after the shoot. While based in Brooklyn, NY, we're open to remote collaboration for the right candidate. You must have access to your own editing software (Premiere Pro preferred) and a reliable workstation. A strong understanding of rhythm, pacing, and visual storytelling is key. Please include a link to your reel or previous editing work, especially if you have experience with music videos or fast-paced content. Day rate is $300-500, depending on experience. We'll provide all footage and clear creative direction.
