Editing for Music Video

We are seeking a talented Editor for an upcoming independent music video shoot in Mexico City, Mexico. The shoot is planned for early September 2026, with an estimated 3-4 days of principal photography. This project is a vibrant, high-energy music video for an emerging pop artist, featuring dynamic choreography and stylized visuals. We're looking for someone who can help us craft a visually compelling narrative that matches the song's upbeat tempo and emotional arc. Key responsibilities include assembling raw footage, inputting music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, creating a rough cut, and refining it through multiple revisions to achieve the final polished version. You'll be working closely with the director to realize their vision and enhance the artistic impact of the piece. We're looking for creativity, a strong sense of rhythm, and an eye for visual storytelling. While specific gear is not required (we can provide basic editing station access if needed, but prefer if you have your own setup), familiarity with professional editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is essential. We welcome editors of all experience levels; your reel demonstrating past work, especially on music videos or fast-paced content, will be a key factor. Compensation is $200-400 per day, depending on experience. Post-production is expected to last approximately 7-10 days, beginning mid-September 2026.
