Editor, Stockholm Doc Series

We are seeking a talented mid-level Editor for an independent documentary series based in Stockholm, Sweden. Our current project explores the vibrant, underground music scene of the city, focusing on the unique stories of emerging artists and their creative processes. It's an intimate, character-driven piece with a naturalistic tone, capturing the raw energy and passion behind the music. We have about 3 weeks of shooting planned between late August and mid-September 2026. Editorial work would primarily begin in early October 2026. Key responsibilities include assembling footage, crafting compelling narratives from interviews and observational material, sound design, and incorporating archival elements. You will work closely with the director to refine the story arc and pacing. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling instincts, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for documentary film. Experience with long-form documentary projects is a must, and familiarity with AVID Media Composer or Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
