Editing for Pilot

An edgy, character-driven dark comedy pilot, exploring the absurdities of modern dating in New York City, needs a talented editor to bring its unique vision to life. This project blends sharp dialogue with subtle visual humor and requires someone with a strong sense of comedic timing and narrative flow. You'll be responsible for assembling raw footage, creating a cohesive story, refining pacing, and implementing sound design and basic color correction to deliver a polished pilot. We're looking for someone with experience in comedic editing, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency with professional editing software. Please share your reel or relevant work samples demonstrating your storytelling abilities. The rough cut footage is expected around September 17, 2026, with an estimated 3-4 weeks of post-production work. While this is a partnership opportunity offering co-producer credit and backend participation, we will provide a comfortable home editing setup if needed and cover any necessary software licenses. We aim to review applications until about October 6, 2026.
