Editing for Web Series

An independent production is seeking a talented entry-level editor to join our small team for an exciting web series project. This is a dramatic comedy, think 'Atlanta' meets 'Insecure,' following a group of young professionals navigating their careers and personal lives in Atlanta. We're looking for someone with a fresh perspective and a strong storytelling instinct to help shape our narrative. Key responsibilities include assembling raw footage, creating rough cuts, fine-tuning edits, adding music and sound effects (provided), and preparing final deliverables for online distribution. You should have experience with industry-standard editing software, preferably DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro. Please provide a reel or samples of your previous work, even student or personal projects are great. This is a deferred pay opportunity, with compensation tied to project funding and distribution. We anticipate about 3 weeks of work, starting around October 1, 2026. You’ll be working remotely for the most part, but some in-person sessions in Atlanta may be needed. Access to your own editing workstation is required. We're aiming to wrap up applications by September 25, 2026.
