Editing for Web Series

An independent production is seeking an experienced Senior Editor to join our small, dynamic team for an upcoming web series. This project is a high-energy, suspenseful sci-fi thriller with comedic undertones, focusing on a group of unlikely heroes navigating a bizarre, alternate Miami. We're looking for someone who can craft a fast-paced narrative, build tension, and punctuate dramatic moments with sharp comedic timing. We value creativity and a strong storytelling sensibility. Key responsibilities include assembling raw footage into a cohesive story, collaborating closely with the director on pacing and tone, managing media, and delivering final cuts according to specifications. You will be responsible for creating episodic content, approximately 15-20 minutes per episode, over about three weeks of work. Candidates must have significant experience cutting narrative projects, ideally web series or short films, with a strong reel demonstrating their abilities. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, and familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is a plus. You should have your own editing workstation and software. The primary editing period will be in the second half of September 2026, with some flexibility for review and revisions in early October. Compensation will be competitive and TBD, dependent on experience. This is a great opportunity to contribute to an exciting, original story.
