Entry-Level 2nd AC (Corporate Video)

Seeking an enthusiastic 2nd AC for an upcoming corporate video project in New York, NY, shooting for 1-2 days in October 2026. This is a passion project focused on showcasing innovative urban development, with a clean, modern aesthetic. We're looking for someone eager to learn and contribute to a small, dedicated independent production. Key responsibilities include assisting the 1st AC and DP with camera setup, lens changes, slate operation, managing media, and battery changes. You'll ensure proper camera handling and support general on-set operations, learning valuable on-set etiquette and practices. Ideal candidates will have some basic experience with film sets or camera equipment (even if from student films), a positive attitude, and strong attention to detail. Ownership of basic tools (tape measure, multi-tool) is a plus, but not required. A reel or portfolio demonstrating any relevant camera experience, even if it's just personal projects, is welcome but not strictly necessary for this entry-level role. This is a volunteer position, offering excellent hands-on experience and networking opportunities within a professional but friendly environment. Lunch, snacks, and water will be provided on set.
