Gaffer for Austin Feature Film, Revenue Share

Looking for a talented Gaffer to light our upcoming independent feature film in Austin. It's a dark comedy, kind of a Coen Brothers meets Wes Anderson vibe, with some really unique visual opportunities we're excited about. You'll be responsible for designing and executing the lighting plan, working closely with our DP to translate our visual goals into stunning cinematography. We're looking for someone who owns a basic lighting package suitable for an independent production (lights, stands, grip gear, etc.). You should have around 3-5 years of experience in film lighting and a reel that showcases your ability to create diverse looks. We're aiming to shoot late summer/early fall, over approximately 15-20 days. Hours will be typical for a feature, likely 10-12 hour days. We'll provide craft services, lunch, and a great, collaborative working environment. This is a passion project for all involved, so we're offering a profit-sharing compensation model with significant upside potential. Excited to hear from you!
