Gaffer (Senior) for ATL Commercial Shoot

Hey filmmakers, Calvin here, a Construction Coordinator working on an upcoming commercial project in Atlanta. We're looking for a seasoned Gaffer to join our team for a visually dynamic, high-energy commercial spot for a local wellness brand. Think bright, clean aesthetics with a focus on highlighting product benefits through sophisticated lighting. We need someone who can translate big ideas into practical, effective lighting setups. Your primary role will be to design, implement, and lead the lighting plan for all scenes, working closely with the DP to achieve their vision. You'll be responsible for managing the lighting crew, ensuring safety protocols are met, and maintaining all grip and electric equipment. We expect you to bring your own essential tools, though we'll have a package coming from a local rental house. We're looking for a Gaffer with at least 5+ years of commercial or narrative experience, especially with shoots involving product or lifestyle elements. A strong portfolio demonstrating your creative lighting solutions is a must. If you have experience with LED panels, HMI units, and various diffusion techniques, that's a big plus. Shoot dates are approximately 2-3 days in late June to early July, with some flexibility. Expect 10-12 hour days. Rate is $250/day. We'll provide craft services and meals on set.
