Gaffer for Sci-Fi Pilot (Atlanta)

Hey filmmakers, I'm Troy, a Grip, and I'm looking for a Gaffer for an upcoming sci-fi pilot shooting in Atlanta. This is a gritty, character-driven story set in a near-future dystopia, with some really cool practical effects and challenging lighting setups. We're aiming for a dark, atmospheric feel, so creativity with light and shadow is key. Your main gig will be overseeing all lighting aspects, working closely with the DP to achieve the desired look. You'll be managing the lighting package, placement, power distribution, and a small team. We're looking for someone who can think on their feet and problem-solve effectively on an independent production. You don't need a ton of experience (all levels welcome), but a good eye and a can-do attitude are crucial. Please have a portfolio or reel demonstrating your work. Shoot dates are flexible but looking at late March/early April, with 2-3 shooting days. It will be 10-12 hour days. We'll provide snacks, drinks, and a solid crew meal.
