Lighting for Feature Film

We're gearing up for an exciting independent feature film shooting in Los Angeles, a gritty psychological thriller with supernatural undertones. We're looking for a Gaffer to lead our lighting department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain feature film experience and really make your mark creatively. You'll be responsible for executing the cinematographer's vision, overseeing lighting setups, managing the electric crew, and ensuring top-notch image quality. We're open to all experience levels, from seasoned Gaffers to highly motivated individuals looking to step up. While we don't require you to bring specific gear, a strong understanding of various lighting techniques, safety protocols, and a collaborative spirit are essential. If you have a reel demonstrating your work, even on smaller projects, please include it. Our shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late summer, roughly 10-12 hour days. We'll provide meals and a copy of the final film for your reel. This is a volunteer position, but a great chance to contribute to a compelling story and build your network.
