Gaffer (Mid) for MN Music Video

We're seeking a skilled Gaffer to join our independent production for an upcoming music video shoot in Minneapolis. This project is a vibrant, high-energy pop/R&B track with a focus on dynamic lighting to enhance the performance and create specific moods across various scenes. We're looking for someone who can translate our artistic vision into compelling visual storytelling through light. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the DP to execute lighting plans, overseeing junior grips, and managing the lighting package on set. We need someone with solid experience on music videos or similar fast-paced narrative projects. You should be proficient with industry-standard lighting equipment and comfortable working efficiently with a small crew. Please provide a reel or portfolio showcasing your best work in music videos, commercials, or short films. Shoot dates are approximately July 26th-28th, with typical 10-12 hour days. Compensation is $100-200 per day, dependent on experience. We'll provide craft services and some gear, specific details to be discussed. This is a great opportunity to contribute creatively to an exciting local music project.
