Lighting for Pilot

Pilot Lighting Toronto, ON mid Budget: $1000-1500/day

Hey everyone, Lucas Andersson here, looking for a strong Best Boy Electric for an upcoming drama pilot in Toronto. This is a character-driven story with some really interesting lighting challenges, blending naturalism with a touch of stylized atmosphere. We're aiming for a cinematic feel on a tight schedule. Your main gig will be assisting me as Gaffer, managing the electric crew, distributing power, setting up and striking lights, and ensuring all our gear is prepped and maintained. We need someone who’s proactive, organized, and can troubleshoot quickly on set. Looking for mid-level experience in a Best Boy or similar senior electric role, ideally with pilot or short-form series experience. Please have a solid reel or a detailed list of your relevant experience. Shoot dates are TBD but looking at 3-4 days in late September/early October. Long days (10-12 hours) are to be expected. We'll have a grip package provided, but expertise with various lighting units and power distro is a must. Competitive day rate of $1000-1500, depending on experience. Let's make some cool images!
