Gaffer (or Best Boy/Girl Electric) for Music Video

Hey, fellow filmmakers! We're putting together a dynamic crew for an upcoming music video shoot in Albuquerque, and we're looking for a talented Gaffer or even a skilled Best Boy/Girl Electric to join us. This independent production features a high-energy pop track with a slightly surreal, dreamlike aesthetic, so we're aiming for some really creative and impactful lighting. Think vibrant colors, interesting shadows, and perhaps a few practical gags. As our Gaffer, you'll be responsible for executing the lighting plan, working closely with the Cinematographer, and overseeing our small electric team. If you're coming on as Best Boy/Girl Electric, you'll be instrumental in setup, rigging, and maintaining the electrical equipment. We're open to all experience levels (this could be a great step up for someone seeking a Gaffer credit!) and we're prioritizing a good attitude and a willingness to collaborate. Shoot dates are approximately 2-3 days in early to mid-August, with potential for some pre-light work. Day rates are competitive at $300-500. We'll provide lunch, snacks, and plenty of water.
