Gaffer (Mid-Level) for Miami Commercial Shoot

Hey filmmakers, Jalen here from an upcoming commercial shoot in Miami. We're looking for a skilled, mid-level Gaffer to join our team for a fast-paced, high-energy commercial featuring lifestyle and product shots. It'll be a fun, dynamic project with a focus on vibrant, clean imagery. Your main responsibilities will include executing the lighting plan devised by the DP, managing the grip and electric team on set, and ensuring all lighting equipment is set up safely and efficiently. We expect you to bring your own basic gaffing kit, but major lighting units and specialty equipment will be provided. You should have a solid understanding of various lighting techniques, strong problem-solving skills, and a great attitude. Please have a reel or portfolio showcasing your commercial lighting work ready to share. Shoot dates are approximately late June, early July (we'll confirm exact dates soon), for 2-3 days. Expect 10-12 hour days. We're offering a competitive day rate of $300-$500, depending on experience. We'll handle catering and provide craft services.
