Gaffer (Pilot Episode)

Hey everyone, I'm cutting a pilot episode for an independent production and we're looking for a Gaffer to join our crew. It's a character-driven comedy with some dramatic undertones, sort of an absurdist take on office culture. We're aiming for a stylized, slightly heightened reality so we need someone creative and resourceful with lighting. You'd be responsible for implementing the lighting design, managing the grip and electric team, and ensuring everything runs smoothly on set. We're shooting in various locations around Brooklyn, primarily interiors. We definitely need someone who brings their own basic lighting kit and any specialized gear they might use. Mid-level experience is ideal, and please send over your reel if you have one. Shoot dates are TBD but looking at 3-4 days in late May or early June, roughly 10-12 hour days. This is a volunteer role, but we'll provide all meals, snacks, and, of course, a copy of the finished pilot for your reel. Looking forward to hearing from you!
