Lighting for Corporate Video

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a skilled Gaffer to join our small crew for an upcoming corporate video project in New York City. This shoot is for a tech company, so we're aiming for a clean, modern, and high-quality aesthetic that highlights their product in an engaging way. It's a great opportunity to get some solid corporate experience and work with a friendly team. Your main responsibility will be executing the lighting plan, working closely with the Cinematographer to achieve the desired look. You'll be setting up and striking lights, managing power, and ensuring everything is safe and efficient on set. We're looking for someone with a good understanding of various lighting techniques for interviews and product shots, and who can problem-solve on the fly. Ideally, you'll have some of your own basic lighting gear (stands, cables, stingers), but we will be renting a more substantial package including Fresnels, practicals, and LED panels. Please have at least entry-level gaffing experience on corporate or commercial projects, and a reel or work samples that demonstrate your lighting skills. Shoot dates are TBD in late July, likely 2-3 days, 10-hour days. We'll provide lunch and craft services on set. Compensation is $150-$300/day, depending on experience and gear contribution.
