Looking for a seasoned Location Manager for an upcoming pilot shoot in Cape Town. This is a dramatic, character-driven story with a touch of grounded sci-fi, exploring relatable human experiences against a unique backdrop. We need someone who can help us discover and secure compelling, visually interesting locations that enhance the narrative, both interior and exterior, with a good understanding of the local landscape and permitting process. Key responsibilities include scouting, liaising with property owners, managing location agreements, and coordinating logistics for crew access and parking. We're looking for someone with at least several years of experience in location management, preferably on larger independent projects, who understands the demands of a fast-paced production. You should have your own transportation and a strong network of local contacts. Shoot dates are TBD in Q4 2024, likely 7-10 days, with pre-production work starting sooner.
