Locations Scout/Manager, Corporate Video, NYC (Volunteer)

Hey film fam, I'm working with an independent production company on an upcoming corporate video project here in NYC and we're on the hunt for a dedicated Locations Scout/Manager. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece, we're aiming for something visually engaging and dynamic, showcasing innovation in a really authentic way. We need someone to help us find and secure compelling locations suitable for interviews, B-roll, and some product demonstration shots around the city. Your main responsibilities will include identifying potential spots, liaising with property owners, and helping with all the necessary logistics for filming on location. Some negotiating skills would be a huge plus. No specific gear is required, but a good eye for practical spaces and an understanding of how light and sound will affect shoots is key. All experience levels are welcome, whether you're just starting out or have a few projects under your belt. Shoot dates are approximate, looking at late April, early May, likely 1-2 days of scouting and 2-3 shoot days. We're providing meals on set and a copy of the finished project for your reel.
