Location Scout, Commercial Shoot

Hey all, I'm looking for a solid Location Scout for an upcoming commercial project based in and around LA. It's a fun, visually driven spot for a well-known tech brand, with a bright and energetic tone. Think modern aesthetics and dynamic environments. We need someone with a good eye for unique and accessible locations, both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Your main responsibilities will include researching and scouting potential locations, taking high-quality photos, creating detailed scout reports including access details and potential challenges, and assisting with obtaining filming permits as needed. We're looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in commercial or narrative film scouting. You'll need your own reliable transportation and a decent camera for scouting photos, a familiarity with LA-area permitting processes is a big plus. Shoot dates are roughly late July, exact dates TBD, but we're looking at about a 2-day scout upfront and potentially a small amount of prep work closer to the shoot. We anticipate 8-10 hour days during the scout. Daily rate is $250 flat. Production will cover mileage and any approved scouting expenses. Reach out if you're interested!
