Location Scout/Manager, Montreal Commercial

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a solid Location Scout and Manager for an upcoming independent commercial production. We're shooting a few high-energy, visually driven spots for a local fitness brand, so we need some cool, dynamic locations, both urban and natural. Think industrial spaces, unique architectural spots, maybe a killer rooftop, and some scenic outdoor areas near Montreal. We're aiming for a fresh, aspirational vibe. Your main gig will be scouting compelling new locations, securing permits and access, and managing the logistics for shoot days. This includes point of contact for locations, ensuring crew access, and handling any site-specific needs. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience in commercial or narrative work in the Montreal area, with a strong understanding of local regulations and a good network. Shoot dates are tentatively set for late July, early August, over approximately 3-4 days, plus scouting days beforehand. We'll be working 10-12 hour days. A reliable vehicle is a must, and we'll cover mileage and location expenses. Daily rate is competitive, $300-500.
