Locations Assistant, Indie Feature Film

Seeking a dedicated Locations Assistant for an upcoming independent feature film. We anticipate approximately 3 weeks of work, starting late October or early November 2026, with a daily rate of $200-400, dependent on experience and duties. This is a gritty, character-driven drama set in the urban landscape of Atlanta, exploring themes of resilience and community. We need someone who can help us find and secure the perfect authentic backdrops. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the Locations Manager with scouting, obtaining permits, managing location agreements, coordinating access, and ensuring the smooth flow of production at each site. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and familiarity with the Atlanta area is a plus. While previous experience is welcome, we're open to enthusiastic individuals eager to learn. You'll need reliable transportation, as you'll be traveling across the city for scouting and on-set support. Gas mileage will be reimbursed, and meals will be provided on set days. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a full-length narrative project.
