Locations for Commercial

An independent production is seeking a dedicated Locations Scout and Manager for an upcoming commercial project based in Atlanta, GA. We're producing a short, energetic commercial for a local tech startup, focusing on dynamic urban environments and modern office spaces. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a visually driven piece with a small, collaborative team. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, secure, and manage shoot locations that align with our creative vision. This includes researching potential sites, coordinating access with property owners, managing permits, and overseeing the smooth operation of each location during the shoot. You'll work closely with the director and production designer to ensure all practical and aesthetic needs are met. We're open to all experience levels; your organizational skills and keen eye for suitable locations are what matter most. A reliable vehicle is required for site visits. Familiarity with Atlanta's diverse neighborhoods and permitting process is a plus but not strictly necessary, we can guide you. We need someone available for prep work for about 3 weeks starting around September 9, 2026, leading into a 2-day shoot around October 8, 2026. Compensation is $250/day flat, paid upon completion. Mileage and any approved location fees will be covered by production.
