Screenwriter for NYC Sci-Fi Short Film

Hey filmmakers, I'm Elena, a producer working on an independent sci-fi short film and we're looking for a talented screenwriter to join our team. We have a compelling concept, a gritty near-future story exploring themes of connection and technological isolation, with a visually driven, contemplative tone. We're aiming for something thought-provoking and emotionally resonant. We need someone to develop the final script, working closely with myself and the director. Key responsibilities include refining character arcs, polishing dialogue, and ensuring the narrative really sings while fitting our production's scope. You'll be taking our existing treatment and elevating it, helping us craft a tight, impactful story for a 10-15 minute short. We're open to screenwriters at any experience level, as long as you have a strong voice and a collaborative spirit.
