Senior Director, Corporate Video (LA)

Los Angeles, CA for a 1-2 day shoot in the first half of September 2026. We're seeking a senior Director for an upcoming corporate video project. This isn't your average talking-head video. We're aiming for a dynamic, visually engaging piece that tells a brand's story with a fresh, modern aesthetic, incorporating some narrative elements. It should feel polished and inspiring, not sterile. The project is for a tech client, focusing on their innovative workplace culture and employee testimonials, requiring a director who can bring energy and authenticity to a corporate setting. We need someone who can translate complex concepts into compelling visuals and elicit genuine performances from non-professional talent. Responsibilities include collaborating with the producer and client to refine the creative vision, leading the crew on set, and guiding the overall storytelling. You'll ensure the visual style aligns with the brand's identity and effectively communicates the key messages. We're looking for someone with significant experience (5+ years) directing corporate or commercial content, a strong reel demonstrating diverse stylistic approaches, and excellent communication skills. Experience working with high-profile clients is a plus. You should be comfortable with a fast-paced production environment and able to make quick, informed decisions. This is an independent production. You will be responsible for bringing your own essential directing tools, but camera, lighting, and sound packages will be provided by the production. Compensation is $200-400 per day, dependent on experience. Expect 8-10 hour days.
