Set Decorator for Commercial Spot

Our upcoming commercial project, a stylish and sophisticated ad for a new high-end coffee brand, needs a talented Set Decorator to help bring its refined aesthetic to life. We're aiming for a sleek, modern, and aspirational feel that will instantly captivate viewers. This is an independent production with a passionate team. You'll be responsible for sourcing, arranging, and dressing props and set elements according to the Art Director's vision, ensuring every detail contributes to the overall look. This includes prop management, set arrangement on shoot days, and coordinating with the Art Department. You should have a keen eye for detail, experience with commercial aesthetics, and a strong understanding of how decor impacts visual storytelling. Please share your reel or portfolio showcasing your set decorating work. We're looking for someone with around 2-3 years of experience in set decoration, preferably with some commercial experience. While we won't be providing specific gear, access to your own basic decorating toolkit (e.g., measuring tape, basic tools for assembly/adjustment) would be helpful. Prep work is estimated to be about 1-2 weeks, with shoot dates around September 24, 2026 for a 1-day shoot, possibly a second day around September 26, 2026. This is a volunteer position offering screen credit and meals provided on prep and shoot days. Based in Los Angeles, CA.
