Sound Designer, Sci-Fi Pilot

Hey everyone, I'm putting together the crew for an exciting sci-fi pilot and we're looking for a talented Sound Designer. This project blends gritty realism with a sense of cosmic grandeur, so we need someone who can craft both nuanced environmental sounds and impactful, otherworldly effects. We're aiming for a really immersive audio experience, something that pulls the audience into a unique world. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing all audio elements, from foley and atmospheres to sound effects and dialogue cleanup. You'll be working closely with the director and editor to achieve the desired sonic landscape. We're open to all experience levels, but a strong ear and creative approach are essential. Please send a reel showcasing your best work, especially anything with a sci-fi or atmospheric bent. No specific gear requirements, just whatever you need to get the job done right. This is a remote-friendly position, but local candidates in Montreal are definitely a plus as there may be opportunities for some in-person sound recording. Shoot dates are TBD but looking at late summer/early fall. This will be a full-time commitment for a few weeks, and we're offering $2000-3000/week, depending on experience.
