Sr. Screenwriter, Nashville Music Video

We're crafting a high-energy, narrative-driven music video for an indie pop artist, focusing on themes of urban escape and self-discovery, set against a vibrant Nashville backdrop. This isn't just a performance video; we need a compelling short story to elevate the track. We're looking for a senior-level screenwriter to join our independent production team. Your main responsibility will be developing a concise, impactful narrative script, including scene breakdowns and character motivations, that can be translated visually within the music video format. You'll work closely with the director and artist to ensure the story complements the song's emotional arc. We need someone with a strong portfolio showcasing previous music video or short film scripts, particularly those demonstrating a knack for visual storytelling and emotional resonance. Experience writing for projects with tight deadlines is a big plus. This is a paid position, $250/day flat, for approximately 3-5 days of work, primarily remote with potential for one or two in-person meetings in Nashville early September 2026.
