Web Series Screenwriter, Entry Level

Seeking an entry-level Screenwriter for an upcoming independent web series shooting in Los Angeles. This project is a dark comedy with supernatural elements, think "What We Do in the Shadows" meets "The Office." We're looking for someone with a fresh voice and a knack for sharp dialogue and character-driven humor. You'll be responsible for developing episode outlines, writing scripts based on existing story arcs, and collaborating with the director and producers on revisions. Prior screenwriting experience, even if it's unproduced shorts or spec scripts, is essential. Please submit a writing sample, preferably a comedy or supernatural script, no longer than 15 pages. This is a remote-friendly position for script development, with some in-person meetings in Los Angeles as needed. We anticipate approximately 3-4 weeks of writing and revision work, spread out over the first half of September 2026. Compensation is $500-800 per day, depending on experience and the scope of work for each deliverable.
