Web Series Screenwriter (Atlanta Area)

Hey filmmakers, I'm a Director/Writer looking for a talented screenwriter to help develop an upcoming web series shoot in Atlanta. This will be a gritty, character-driven drama, with a dark comedic edge, exploring relationships within a close-knit community. Think early 'Better Call Saul' vibes meets 'Atlanta'. We're seeking a screenwriter to outline, develop, and write multiple episodes for the series. You'll be working closely with me to flesh out characters and plotlines, ensuring a compelling and authentic narrative. This is an independent production with a lot of creative freedom to explore. Your primary responsibility will be drafting scripts, incorporating feedback, and ensuring continuity across episodes. We're open to all experience levels, from emerging talent to seasoned pros. What's most important is your voice, storytelling ability, and commitment. Please provide a writing sample, preferably a short script or a few scenes from a longer work, that showcases your dramatic writing. Availability for regular meetings, mostly virtual but some in-person in Atlanta, is a must. Compensation is $500-800 per day, depending on experience and the scope of work.
