Sound Design for Documentary

Hey, Marcus here (utility sound tech). We're wrapping principal photography soon on an independent documentary series about the resurgence of community gardens in urban Atlanta, and we're looking for a talented Sound Designer to join our post-production team. This project has a really inspiring, authentic tone, and strong sound design will be crucial in bringing out the emotional depth of these stories. You'll be responsible for creating and enhancing the soundscape, including foley, ambiences, and SFX, to elevate the narrative. We're looking for someone with around 3-5 years of experience in documentary or long-form narrative sound design. You should have your own workstation and relevant software (Pro Tools preferred) and a strong reel demonstrating your creative sound design skills. We'll provide all production sound files and a detailed picture lock. This is an equity partnership role, meaning compensation will be based on a percentage of project success, an exciting opportunity to truly invest in a project you believe in. We're aiming for a post-production start date in early Fall, flexible hours. Let's make some magic happen.
