Art Asst, Documentary Feature (Albuquerque)

A character-driven documentary feature exploring the unique culture of hot air ballooning in Albuquerque needs an enthusiastic Art Assistant. This is a chance to work on a visually rich project that captures the spirit of community and adventure, with a focus on practical, on-set art department needs. You will be assisting with prop sourcing, set dressing, and general art department support under the lead Art Director. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Applicants should have a keen eye for detail, be highly organized, and be willing to jump in wherever needed. Experience with basic prop handling, local sourcing, and general production assistant duties is a plus but not strictly required. We are looking for someone with reliable transportation, as some local errands will be involved. This is a deferred payment opportunity with a commitment of about 3 weeks of work, primarily in early September 2026. Snacks, water, and lunch on shoot days will be provided.
