Art Department for Short Film

An independent production is seeking a skilled and experienced Prop Master to join our art department team for an upcoming dramatic short film shooting in Atlanta, GA. This project explores themes of loss and resilience through a visually evocative, slightly surreal lens, requiring a keen eye for detail and creative problem-solving with props that enhance mood and narrative. We are looking for someone with a strong background in short film or indie features, ready to bring their senior-level expertise to a passionate crew. As Prop Master, you will be responsible for sourcing, creating, and managing all props on set, ensuring they align with the director's vision and the art director's design. This includes breakdown, maintenance, and safe handling. You will collaborate closely with the production designer and director. We anticipate a 10-12 day prep period followed by a 4-day shoot, likely within the second half of November 2026. Required gear includes a basic prop kit, and reliable transportation is a must.
