Art Director, Sci-Fi Web Series

Shooting in London, UK, across about 3 weeks in late August/early September 2026, we’re looking for a skilled Art Director for an independent sci-fi web series. This project is a visually rich, darkly comedic take on corporate dystopia, blending practical effects with subtle CGI. We need someone who can translate our ambitious vision into tangible, evocative sets and props on a lean budget, working closely with myself and the production designer. Key responsibilities include leading a small art team, sourcing and fabricating set dressing, and managing prop procurement and construction. You'll need a strong portfolio demonstrating your experience with sci-fi aesthetics and practical art direction. We're looking for someone with a proactive attitude and a knack for creative problem-solving. This is an equity partnership role, perfect for an experienced professional looking to invest their talent in a passion project with significant potential. Some basic tools and a small workshop space will be provided, but your own kit and transport would be a plus. We anticipate mostly 10-hour days.
