Camera for Music Video

An artist confronts their past in a visually evocative, indie pop music video with surreal elements. We are seeking a dedicated Camera Operator for an upcoming independent production based in Brooklyn, NY. Key responsibilities include operating the primary camera during takes, ensuring consistent framing and movement according to the DP's vision, assisting with setup and breakdown of camera equipment, and troubleshooting on set. You'll be working closely with the Director of Photography to bring a dynamic visual style to life. We're looking for someone with a strong eye and a collaborative spirit. While prior experience in music videos is a plus, we welcome enthusiastic applicants at any experience level. Please have your own camera package suitable for music video production (e.g., capable of 4K, good low-light performance) and relevant support gear (lenses, tripod, monitor). A reel showcasing your operating skills, even from student or short projects, is highly appreciated. This is a 1-2 day shoot, currently slated for the last week of September 2026, with typical 10-hour days. Location will be primarily in and around Brooklyn. Compensation is $150-300 per day, depending on experience and gear. Meals and craft services will be provided on set.
