Cinematography for Feature Film

Hey team, Carla from makeup here. We're gearing up for an independent dramatic feature shooting here in NYC, a poignant story with grounded performances and a bit of a gritty, naturalistic visual style. Looking for an enthusiastic, entry-level 1st Assistant Camera to join our crew. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience on a full-length project and work closely with an experienced DP. You'll be responsible for maintaining focus, pulling focus during takes, keeping lenses clean, and assisting with camera setup and breakdown. You'll need to have a strong understanding of camera equipment, basic troubleshooting skills, and a keen eye for detail. We'll be providing the camera package (RED), but any personal gear you have that could be useful is a plus, though not required. Ideally, you’ll have a short reel or some project examples showcasing your capabilities. Shoot dates are approximately June 10-30, five days a week, ten-hour days. We're a tight-knit crew, expecting good communication and a positive attitude. Looking forward to seeing your work!
