Corporate Video AC, Auckland

Hey filmmakers, Mateo here. I'm a Color Timer working on an independent corporate video project, and we're looking for a skilled Assistant Camera (AC) to join our small, enthusiastic crew in Auckland. This isn't your typical dry corporate video, we're aiming for a fresh, visually engaging piece that tells a compelling story about a local business, giving it a documentary-style feel. As our AC, you'll be crucial to maintaining a smooth camera department. Key responsibilities include managing camera gear, pulling focus like a pro, setting up camera support, and assisting our DP with all on-set camera needs. We're seeking someone entry-level with a solid understanding of camera systems, particularly mirrorless or smaller cinema cameras. You should ideally have your own basic AC kit (tools, tape, slate, etc.). A good work ethic and a positive attitude are a must. Please share your reel or relevant experience when you reach out. Shoot dates are flexible, looking at late August, early September for a few days, likely 8-10 hour days. We'll provide meals and transport to locations. Compensation is deferred, a backend percentage, as is common with independent productions. Let's make something great together!
