Entry Colorist, Feature Film (Lagos)

Seeking an entry-level Colorist for an upcoming independent feature film, paid $200-400/day for approximately 3-4 weeks of work starting around November 3, 2026. We need someone based in Lagos, NG, who can deliver a compelling final grade for our drama-thriller. This film explores themes of ambition and betrayal in the Nigerian art world, with a sophisticated, moody visual tone. We're aiming for a cinematic look that enhances the emotional arc of the story. You'll be responsible for primary and secondary color corrections, achieving creative looks, and ensuring consistency across all sequences. We're looking for someone proficient in DaVinci Resolve Studio with access to a calibrated monitoring setup. Experience with HDR workflows is a plus but not essential. Please have a strong reel showcasing your ability to create evocative color palettes, especially for dramatic or thriller genres. This is a great opportunity to gain significant feature film experience on a project with strong artistic potential. We provide all necessary raw footage, proxy files, and detailed notes.
