Gaffer for Sci-Fi Pilot

Seeking a talented Gaffer for an upcoming sci-fi pilot shooting approximately 3 days between July 22-26 in Los Angeles. Rate is $300-500/day, dependent on experience. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for cinematic lighting, capable of executing complex setups for a visually driven, gritty sci-fi narrative. This pilot is for an independent production, featuring intricate world-building and a suspenseful tone. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with the DP to achieve the desired lighting aesthetic, managing the lighting team (best boy, grips, electrics), and ensuring safe and efficient operation of all lighting equipment. You'll be responsible for bringing a full G&E package, including HMI, LED, and tungsten fixtures, as well as necessary distro and stands. Experience with both interior and practical location shoots is a must. Please include a link to your reel or relevant work when applying. We're aiming for 10-12 hour days.
