Lighting for Music Video

Seeking a Gaffer for an upcoming music video shoot in Los Angeles, approximately 3-4 days in late August or early September 2026. This is a paid position, offering $2000-3000 per week, dependent on experience and gear contribution. We're working on a dynamic, high-energy music video for an independent artist, blending surreal dreamscapes with gritty performance scenes. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the DP on lighting plans, leading a small lighting crew, and ensuring all lighting is safe and efficient. We need someone who can bring creative solutions and has a strong understanding of various lighting setups for both studio and practical locations. Please have a current reel showcasing your gaffing work on similar projects. While we have some basic lighting packages available, experience with and access to a comprehensive G&E kit will be a significant plus. Hours will be typical 10-12 hour days. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a visually ambitious project with a great team.
