Gaffer (Senior) for Miami Commercial

Our independent production is seeking a senior Gaffer to join our team for an upcoming commercial shoot in Miami. We're crafting a dynamic, high-energy spot for a luxury lifestyle brand, blending sleek visuals with a modern, aspirational tone. We'll be working in diverse environments, from chic urban locations to beautiful coastal settings. This project offers a unique opportunity for creative input and partnership. You'll be responsible for all aspects of lighting design and execution, working closely with the Cinematographer to achieve a sophisticated visual aesthetic. This includes developing lighting plots, managing equipment, and leading a small lighting crew. We're looking for someone with extensive commercial experience, a strong portfolio demonstrating their skill in creating impactful, polished looks, and a proven ability to lead. Ownership of a comprehensive lighting package (HMI, LED, specialty fixtures) is required. Shoot dates are approximately 1-2 weeks in late August 2026, with some prep days beforehand. Compensation is an equity partnership in the production, reflecting the significant contribution we anticipate.
