Lighting for Commercial

An independent commercial production, a visually dynamic campaign for a luxury tech brand, is seeking a seasoned Best Boy Electric. This project demands precision lighting to achieve a sleek, high-end aesthetic. As Best Boy Electric, you will be instrumental in supporting the Gaffer, managing the lighting crew, overseeing equipment, and ensuring efficient power distribution and safety on set. Your responsibilities include inventorying gear, coordinating daily lighting setups, maintaining equipment, and supervising junior crew members. We're looking for someone with extensive experience on commercial sets, a strong understanding of various lighting fixtures and control systems, and a proactive problem-solving approach. Must have your own kit of essential tools and safety gear. The main shoot is scheduled for approximately three weeks in October 2026, with a few prep days beforehand. We anticipate long, but standard, commercial shoot days. We will provide all major lighting and grip equipment, power distribution, and transportation for crew and gear.
