Lighting for Commercial

A dynamic commercial project, focusing on a vibrant lifestyle brand, is seeking a talented Gaffer. We're creating visually rich and energetic content for an independent production, aiming for a polished, modern aesthetic that captures attention. As Gaffer, you will be crucial in shaping the visual storytelling, working closely with the Director of Photography to execute their vision and ensure optimal lighting for all scenes. Key responsibilities include designing and setting up lighting plots, managing lighting equipment, supervising the electrics team, and ensuring all lighting is safe and efficient on set. We're looking for someone with about 3-5 years of experience in commercial or narrative lighting, strong problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of various lighting fixtures and techniques. Please have your own basic kit (meters, tools) but all major lighting equipment and grip gear will be provided by the production. This is a deferred pay role. The shoot is currently scheduled for 2-3 days during the last week of October 2026, with an additional 1-2 prep days prior. Specific hours will be discussed during interviews.
