Post-Production for Short Film

Our independent production is looking for an experienced Colorist to join our team for an upcoming short film in the San Francisco area. This is a dramatic short, exploring themes of resilience and memory, with a visually rich, slightly melancholic tone that we aim to enhance through carefully crafted color. You'll be responsible for color correcting and grading our footage to match the director's vision, ensuring consistency across all scenes, and delivering final graded files in the required formats. We're looking for someone with at least mid-level experience in color grading, a strong understanding of color theory, and proficiency with professional grading software (DaVinci Resolve preferred). Please have a reel demonstrating your narrative work. You'll need to provide your own grading station and software. Our post-production window is approximately 2-3 weeks, with flexible hours. We're offering a daily rate of $200-400. While we provide the graded footage, you'll be an essential part of shaping the final look and feel of the film.
