Sound Design for Web Series

Hey filmmakers, I'm a Hair Department Head on an exciting independent web series, and we're looking for a talented sound designer to join our crew. This is a gritty, sci-fi thriller with psychological elements, set in a dystopian near future. Think unsettling soundscapes, impactful effects, and nuanced audio storytelling to really sell the tension and world-building. We're looking for someone to handle all aspects of post-production sound, including editing, foley, effects, and mixing for a multi-episode run. You'll work closely with the director to shape the overall audio aesthetic. Ideally, you'll have your own workstation and a solid library of sound effects, though specific needs can be discussed. We need someone mid-level, with a good reel showcasing your work on similar genre projects. We're aiming to begin post-production sound around early July, with an estimated commitment of 10-15 hours a week for about 8-10 weeks. This is a deferred compensation project, offering a percentage of backend profits.
