Sound Designer for Music Video

Ben Castillo here, I'm a stunt coordinator typically, but I'm helping out on an exciting new music video project and we're looking for a talented Sound Designer to join the team. This is a high-energy, visually driven track, a synth-pop banger with a bit of an retro-futuristic vibe, think 80s aesthetics meets modern club. We need someone who can craft some truly unique soundscapes and effects to really amplify the visuals and the music. You'll be responsible for all foley, sound effects, and atmospheric sounds, working closely with the director to bring their vision to life. This isn't just about cleaning up audio, we need creative sound design that acts as another character in the video. We don't have super specific gear requirements, just that you have your own professional tools and a solid workflow. Experience level can be anything from passionate up-and-comer to seasoned pro, we're open to seeing a range of reels. Shoot dates are tentatively set for late July in the greater Los Angeles area, likely 2-3 days of shooting, with post-production work to follow. We're a small independent production, so we value collaboration and a good attitude. Compensation is negotiable depending on experience and your reel. Hit me up with your reel and availability!
