Gaffer (Mid-Level) for Nashville Commercial Shoot

We need a skilled Gaffer to illuminate a vibrant, high-energy commercial for an independent music-related product, designed to captivate a youthful, active audience. This piece will have a punchy, dynamic feel with a focus on clean, modern aesthetics and practical lighting. You'll be responsible for executing the lighting plan, working closely with the DP to achieve the desired mood and managing the lighting crew, and ensuring all gear is safely and efficiently operated. We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of gaffing experience on commercial sets, a strong understanding of various lighting techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with both LED and HMI packages is a plus. Please have a current lighting reel or portfolio available for review. The shoot is currently penciled in for 1-2 days within the second half of September 2026, with 10-12 hour days. Some prep work may be required in the week leading up to the shoot. We'll provide all necessary grip and electric equipment, crew support (best boy, grips), and catering. We're offering a daily rate between $200-400, commensurate with experience.
