Lighting for Commercial

An independent production is seeking a skilled Best Boy Electric for an upcoming commercial project based in Prague, CZ. We're shooting a dynamic, visually driven commercial for a tech product, focusing on sleek, modern aesthetics with some practical lighting effects. This is a great opportunity to work on a fast-paced set with a passionate, small team. We need someone who can hit the ground running. Key responsibilities include assisting the Gaffer with light setup and striking, managing power distribution, maintaining equipment, and overseeing the lighting crew. You'll be crucial in ensuring all lighting elements are executed safely and efficiently according to the Gaffer's plan. Applicants should have significant experience as a Best Boy Electric on commercial sets, possess strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of power systems and safety protocols. Familiarity with common LED fixtures, HMIs, and grip equipment is essential. Please provide a brief list of relevant commercial projects or a link to your reel highlighting your work. This is a senior-level position. We're looking at approximately 1-2 days of prep in late September 2026, followed by a 2-day shoot around the first week of October 2026. The daily rate is $250 flat.
