Director of Photography, New Orleans Web Series

Shooting in New Orleans, LA, in the last week of September 2026, we are seeking a talented Director of Photography for a 3-day shoot for our upcoming web series. This independent production is a dark comedy, blending surreal humor with a slightly melancholic tone. We aim for a visually distinct style that enhances the comedic timing and subtle character development. We need a DP who can bring a creative eye and efficient workflow to our small but ambitious team. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with the Director to achieve the desired visual aesthetic, managing lighting and camera operations on set, and ensuring consistent image quality throughout the shoot. You'll be responsible for your own camera package, including a camera body, lens kit, and basic lighting setup suitable for interior and exterior scenes. Experience with independent web series or short films is essential, and a strong understanding of narrative storytelling through cinematography is a must.
