Lighting for Web Series

After a meteor gives a group of unlikely New Yorkers superpowers, they have to figure out how to be heroes while still paying rent. We're an independent production seeking a talented, mid-level Gaffer for an upcoming comedic web series with a grounded, slightly stylized aesthetic. We’re looking for someone who can help us achieve dynamic and atmospheric lighting, balancing the series' urban grit with its fun, superheroic tone. You'll be responsible for executing the Cinematographer’s vision, managing lighting equipment, coordinating with the grip department, and ensuring safe and efficient power distribution on set. We need someone who owns a basic G&E package (C-stands, stingers, flags, frames, etc.) and has experience working with LED fixtures (Aputure, Astera, etc.) and small HMIs, along with a solid understanding of color temperature and practical lighting. Please submit your reel and a brief resume outlining your relevant Gaffer experience. We anticipate a 10-day shooting schedule in Brooklyn starting in early September 2026, working 10-12 hour days. Lunch and crafty will be provided daily. We're looking to wrap up applications by September 27, 2026.
